Log into the system 192.168 1.1 80. Setting and changing the password. Change the password of the Wi-Fi network on modems from Ukrtelecom

In addition to fixed-line services, the operator Ukrtelecom (OGO) provides its clients with an Internet access service. Most often, ADSL modems ZTE ZXV10 H108L and Huawei Hg532E are provided to clients to ensure connection. The company's specialists perform the initial configuration of devices, including the organization of a home WiFi network. If you need to change your password or change other settings, you need to order a paid service from the support service or do it yourself.

When setting up a modem, Ukrtelecom's masters set a password at their own discretion or organize password-free access to the network via WiFi. Many people think that securing a home network is not important because they do not have valuable information on their computer. However, you should consider the following points:

  • If a password is not set or it has become known to all neighbors, they can freely connect to your network. As a result, the Internet channel will be clogged with third-party traffic, which will slow down your access speed and cause lags when playing online games, watching videos, etc.
  • Third parties connecting to your network could disseminate prohibited information or engage in fraudulent activities. As a result, law enforcement officers will come to your address and will have to, at least, give explanations.
  • If you forgot your WiFi password, you will not be able to connect new devices to it. In this case, you will have to change the WiFi network password on your Huawei Hg532E modem, or ZTE ZXV10 H108L.

If in the latter case there are ways, then in the first two only replacing the password with a new and reliable one will help.

Change the password of the Wi-Fi network on modems from Ukrtelecom

To change your password, you need a computer, tablet or smartphone. You must be connected to the modem via Wi-Fi, or by cable (LAN).

Launch your browser and type the IP address in the address bar 192.168.1.1 ... An authorization window will open, in which you must enter the login "admin" and the current password set to protect the device. Router manufacturers set the default password to "admin" or "1234". Information about it is available in the instructions for the device. If the default password is changed to a new one, it can be written on the back of the modem. By default, login is most often used "admin" and password "admin".

This is how you enter the settings Huawei Hg532E:

And in the same way we go into the settings ZTE ZXV10 H108L... If you have this modem.

In the case when you do not remember the password and cannot log in to the modem settings page, you will have to perform full reset to factory settings. However, please note that along with the access password, the Internet connection settings will also be reset. You will have to call the wizard or enter the connection parameters yourself and re-configure the modem from Ukrtelecom.

Let's take a closer look at how to change the password on each modem.

Changing WiFi password on Huawei Hg532E

In the settings of the Huawei modem, you need to open the "Basic" and "WLAN" sections.

  • In the SSID field, you can change the name Wi-Fi networks.
  • In the "WPA pre-shared key" field, change the password for our Wi-Fi network.

It looks like this:

Enter new password (English letters and numbers, at least 8 characters) and click the "Submit" button to apply the settings. Reboot your modem.

How to change the WiFi network password on the ZTE ZXV10 H108L modem?

After entering the control panel, go to the "WLAN" - "Security" tab.

In the "WPA Passphrase" field (WPA Password (depending on modem model and firmware)) enter a new password for accessing the WiFi network.

Save your changes by clicking on the "Submit" button. You also need to restart the modem.

This completes the password setting and you can use the Internet access channel from Ukrtelecom with all your devices that have a WiFi interface. You just need to connect to WiFi with a new password.

If you have connection problems after changing your password

In the event that you changed only the password, without changing the network name (SSID), then there may be problems connecting to the wireless network on different devices. On computers, this is an error "The network settings saved on this computer do not match the requirements of this network." I wrote about the solution to this error within the framework of the article:. In short, you need to delete the Wi-Fi network on your computer and connect to it with a new password. In separate articles I have already written how, and in Windows 7.

On mobile devices (Android, iOS), you just need to open the properties of the wireless network, or click on the network and hold it. Select "delete network" from the menu.

On every "smart" network device - be it a managed switch or a WiFi router - you need to configure access authorization. This is an axiom from which one cannot deviate. But here, too, there are some peculiarities and nuances. Let's take a closer look at this.

When we try to log into the web interface of the router through http://192.168.1.1, we get such an authorization request, i.e. it asks us for a login password:

For 90% of all home network devices, by default, login and password are used to log in via 192.168.1.1: admin / admin. These include Asus, D-Link, TP-Link, Upvel, Sagemcom. But, as I said, you cannot log into the router using the admin login and admin password on all devices. The exception is routers from Zyxel (password: 1234), Acorp (you need to type Admin with capital letter) and some models of Chinese devices from ZTE (Promsvyaz) and Huawei.

What is the default password ?!

If you did not change the password after setting up the device from what was used by default to your own, then it is very easy to find out the details for access. We take the router in our hands and turn the bottom side towards us (if the device is made in a case with a vertical arrangement, then we look at the back side of the case). There should be a sticker like this:

It contains the IP address of the device, login and password.

What to do if I forgot my login password or admin / admin does not work and the message "GoAhead "?!

There are two options for action. The first is to remember or, if you did not set up your modem yourself, look for the one who did it and find out the password from him. Yes, this is not a joke. Therefore, as the second option is to use the "Reset" button to reset the configuration of the device to the factory values.

Press the button for 10-15 seconds until all indicators blink at once, and then go out. The router will reboot and come back with a pristine config, the same as you bought it. Now you need to completely re-configure it.

How to set your admin password ?!

To change or set your password for access to the configuration parameters for each network device, you need to do your own sequence of actions. Now I will give examples for the most common models.

ASUS

On Asus devices, after entering the web interface, you need to select the section in the menu on the left Additional settings , and in it - subsection Administration... We are interested in the tab System. This is how it looks on older versions of Asus R-G32 and RT-N10 firmware:

Here we find the field "Change system password" and enter your own, instead of admin, which is used by default. Click on the "Apply" button.

On newer versions Asus firmware Wireless Router on models RT-N10U, RT-N12 D1, which is made in black colors, logically everything is located in the same places:

Remember to click the Apply button to save your configuration settings.

TP-Link

The situation with the devices of this manufacturer is generally interesting. On the same router model - for example, tl-wr740n or tl-wr741nd - depending on the firmware, the IP address can be either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
In order to change the password to admin "a, you need to go to the section in the device menu System Tools >>> Password:

Enter the username: admin, old and then new password. Click the "Save" button.

If your interface is in English, then the corresponding section - System Tools >>> Password:

In the "Old Password" field, enter the old password, and in the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" - the new one. We save the changes by clicking "Save".

Zyxel

Zyxel home routers of the Keenetic and Keenetic II families - Start, 4G, Lite II, Omni, Viva, Giga II, Ultra - are one of the most popular SOHO equipment on the market. On the first version, you had to go to the section System >>> Password:

But the second version of the firmware must also select the section below System, tab Members and click on the user admin to change the password for entering http://192.168.1.1:80 instead of the standard "1234":

Here, by the way, you can set access rights. Click on Save and close the page.

D-Link

With D-Link routers, it's not that simple either. Most of them have the address 192.168.0.1, and only some versions of DSL-2640U, DIR-320 and DIR-620 use 192.168.1.1. Although the actions for changing the password instead of admin, the actions are the same there and there.
First, go to advanced settings:

Then select the section System >>> Administrator password:

Here we enter the new login password twice and click on "Save". After that, do not forget to select the "Save and Restart" menu item in the upper right corner of the web interface.

Linksys, Cisco and DD-WRT

These SOHO-level devices use an almost identical Interface. The actual DD-WRT firmware was originally used on Linksys. And only after that, in a modified version, it became available for many other routers.

This manual will tell you how to install, connect and configure Wi-Fi router by logging into the admin panel http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 for D-Link DIR-300 and DIR-615, TP-Link TL-WR740N and TL-WR841N, Tenda N301 and other routers using these IP addresses to access your Personal Account. This information will be useful for everyone who sets up for the first time wireless network Wi-Fi, Internet or IPTV in your apartment or in a private house.

The sequence of actions that will allow you to enter the settings of the router is as follows:

1. We turn on our modem or router.

2. We connect it with a network LAN cable to a computer or laptop

3. We launch the web browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera).

4. In the address bar, you must enter the IP address of the router. Depending on the model and brand of the router (TP-Link, Dlink, Tenda, etc.), they can be as follows:

  • 192.168.0.1
  • 192.168.0.10
  • 192.168.0.50
  • 192.168.1.1
  • 192.168.8.1
  • 192.168.88.1
  • 192.168.100.1

Also, instead of IP, a symbolic site address can be used:

  • tplinklogin.net
  • tplinkwifi.net
  • tplinkmodem.net
  • routerlogin.net
  • my.keenetic.net
  • netis.cc

WiFi router's personal account - what is it ?!

Login to Personal Area It is quite easy to configure a WiFi router to configure it. To do this, just write down its ip-address - http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 - in the address bar of your browser. Many users refer to the web interface as the site of a router and believe that in order to access it, you need an Internet connection. This is not true. On the contrary, for initial setup it is not recommended to connect the provider's cable to the device before the required parameters are specified.

If you do not know which IP is used on your router - 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1 or another - you can use the hint that the manufacturer left for users in the form of a sticker. You can find it on the back or bottom of the case. Here's an example for the D-Link DIR-300:

As you can see, the D-Link router uses 192.168.0.1 login admin, password admin.

And here is the sticker on the Rostelecom Sagemcom router [email protected] 2804 v7:

On this model, IP is used to enter the web interface. 192.168.1.1 admin / admin.

How to further configure the router

So, you managed to enter the settings of the router and do not know what to do with it next ?! The procedure is usually as follows. First you need to set up your internet connection. this is done in the "WAN" or "Internet" section. To do everything right, first find out in the technical support of your telecom operator - which protocol you use - PPPoE, IPoE or something else. If PPPoE is used, then you also need a login and password to connect.

If you have a static IP address, then you need information about the used address, mask, gateway and DNS server.

The second step is usually to set up a WiFi network. Everything here is usually easy and simple. You must first come up with a name for the wireless network - the SSID. Then - the password for Wi-Fi. As a password, it is better to use a key phrase not shorter than 8-10 characters and numbers and letters of the Latin alphabet.

The third stage is setting up IPTV - digital interactive TV. Usually, one of the LAN ports is separated for this, which is configured for an STB set-top box.

Sometimes, for the operation of some programs or games, it is also necessary to configure port forwarding or other services. After that, the router settings are saved and you can connect the provider's WAN cable to the connector on the router.

For more information on your router model, look on the Internet.

Login 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 - the page is inaccessible and does not open

Despite the fact that the process of setting up common network devices for home and small office is relatively easy, users still often face difficulties. This is especially true for beginners. One of the most common problems is that when trying to access the router at http://192.168.0.1 (or via http://192.168.1.1), the user gets an error “page not found” and the web interface does not open. There are the following ways to solve it.

1. Try a different web browser. Often you have to deal with the fact that due to a malfunction or a crooked cache from the web browser, it is impossible to log into the router. Try clearing your cache and cookies. Doesn't help - use another browser. As practice shows, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are best suited for accessing the settings of network devices through 192.168.0.1. You can also try to try to log in using the browser's safe mode. Google Chrome calls this mode "Incognito".

2. Disable anti-virus software and firewall. Very often, the computer does not log into the router due to the fact that for some reason it is blocked by the antivirus. A striking example is Kaspersky Free Antivirus, which has to be completely deactivated to get into the configurator of a modem or router.

3. Check the settings of the network card. Very often you have to deal with the fact that users have any addresses in the parameters of the network card. Of course, with such settings, you will not be able to log into the router at http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1. To check it open Windows options and go to the section Network and Internet | Ethernet... and click on the line "Configuring adapter parameters":

Next, in the list of network connections, select the adapter through which you are connected to the router or modem and right-click on it. Select the "Properties" menu item to open the following window:

Double click on the line IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4) and we see this window:

In most cases, for a successful connection to the router, it is enough to leave the receipt of addresses in automatic mode. If in this way the entrance to D-Link, TP-Link or Tenda via 192.168.0.1 is not available, try to register the parameters manually:

We register the values as in the picture:

IP address - 192.168.0.222 mask - 255.255.255.0 Gateway - 192.168.0.1 DNS - 192.168.0.1

click on the "OK" button and check the access to the network device.

4. Try connecting to the router from your phone via WiFi. For this, many manufacturers even have special mobile applications to configure routers. For example, TP-Link Tether, D-Link WiFi, Zyxel My.Keenetic, etc.

5. If all else fails, try resetting the router with the Reset button.
It is located on the back of the device. Use a paper clip or pencil to press. It is necessary to hold Reset in the pressed state for about 8-10 seconds, then release it.

I have already met several times questions with problems that arise when entering the settings of different models of routers (and different manufacturers: TP-Link, Asus, D-Link, Netgear, etc.)... The problem was not that there was no access to the settings page at one of the addresses (192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1), but that the password or login did not fit. Which must be entered in order to gain access to the settings of the router.

Almost everyone was sure that they were entering the correct password and login. But the window asking for a password / login just reboots and that's it, it's impossible to enter the settings. Standard (usually admin and admin), also did not fit, and people claimed that the parameters for entering the control panel did not change.

If you press Cancellation, then a window with an error and some recommendations will appear (this is for example TP-Link)... The error usually appears in English, I translated (more precisely, Chrome translated :)).

The problem is clear, let's move on to advice on how to solve it.

We clarify the default password (login), try another browser

If you have not changed the username and password in the router settings, then first of all, I recommend that you clarify what data is used by default on your network device. Usually, this data is indicated on the bottom of the router. (or somewhere in the back, there should be a sticker with the necessary information).

See, in the screenshot above, the default data is admin and admin. This data is used by almost all routers. Only in Zyxel, if I'm not mistaken, the password is 1234.

Try to enter under the default parameters. Does not work? Ok, let's move on.

Try logging in through a different browser, or from a different computer.

If, for example, you go from the Chrome browser, or Opera, and nothing works, then try Internet Explorer (or vice versa). You can also try clearing your browser cache.

If changing the browser also did not help, then try to enter the settings from another computer, or even from a tablet (smartphone), via Wi-Fi.

Router still won't accept username / password? Let's continue.

Have you changed your default username / password and forgot it?

It happens (I know not by hearsay)... In such a situation, the most normal and correct way out is to reset the router settings. After resetting the settings, the password and login will be used those indicated on the case of the device. (those that are by default).

I wrote about how to reset all parameters in a separate article. Everything is very simple there. You only need to press a certain button for a few seconds.

Before you reset the parameters, you must understand that the router will have to be configured again. Set parameters for connecting to the Internet, configure Wi-Fi, etc.

Universal way

In a universal way, I would call the same reset of parameters. It happens that the router just glitched out, or something else, resetting all settings should revive it. But, there are cases when even after resetting all parameters, the router refuses to accept the password to enter the control panel. In this case, there may be some technical problem.
